Existing Problems

Rice is an important crop in many areas, but it will be damage by Pomacea Canaliculata and strong wind, causing over a billion dollars of agricultural damage every year. Farmers used a lot of pesticides to kill Pomacea Canaliculata, which caused another ecological catastrophe, which affected the environment near the farmland and also affected the quality of rice.

Design Information

Crop Protector is a seedling's stake to prevent seedlings from being damaged by Pomacea Canaliculata, dumped, and provides nutrients. The shell is made from straw fiber, which can stabilize the root of the seedlings and prevent it from dumping in a strong wind, the top is made by adding rice bran and tea seed meal, which can reduce the damage of Pomacea Canaliculata and promote the initial growth of seedlings. The straw fiber, rice bran, and tea seed meal which from agricultural waste are rich in nutrients can be decomposed in the soil and become an organic fertilizer to help the growth of the seedling, and then achieve friendly recycling planting. Crop Protector can be used to transplant rice seedlings, or it can be linked into a form for mechanical transplanting, providing different planting needs in a different areas.

Step4

Step5

Fill the soil into Crop -Protector to 80%.

Put the rice seeds in Crop Protector.

Start to disinfect.

Fill the soil into Crop- Protector again.

Wait for growing into

a seedling.

Mechanized Transplanting Process

Use Crop Protector

linked into a disk form

for seedlings.

Place the entire plate of Crop-

Protector above the rear plate

of the rice transplanter.

When the rice transplanter

the operation, it will hook a

single Crop Protector.

The hooked Crop

Protector will be

separated from the

entire Crop Protector.

Crop Protector will de-

compose and turn into

nutrients to help crops

grow.

Crop Protector can protect

the crops when the crop are

growing.

The rice transplanter will

insert the hooked Crop

Protector into the soil.

Material Information

The Up Half Material -

The tea seed meal not only can be used to prevent the intrusion by Molluscs which have the mucus, but also can decompose and produce rich of nutrients to help crops grow.

The Down Half Material -

Straw fiber can provide soil organic, and the nutritional elements will release after decomposition. It can supplement soil nutrients, and have the function of adjust soil temperature, which can improve the growth environment of crop roots and enhance crop growth.

Material Recycle

Step1

Acquiring agricultural waste from

farmers, and crushing the straw

fiber, rice bran and tea seed meal

into Crop Protector.

Step2

Crop Protector can prevent crops been damaged from Pomacea Canaliculata and strong wind during the growth of the seedling.

Step3

After the harvest, collect the

agricultural waste and re-make

the Crop Protector.

Step4

Crop Protector decompose

naturally into the soil and become the nutrients to help crops grow.
